For 7 Years, Genevieve ran the Redwood Global Small Cap Fund—the best-performing small cap fund in Canada in 2009, 2010, & 2014. She received her CFA in 2011 & Level 1 Charted Market Technician designation (CMT). She was also the Portfolio Manager and Analyst for LDIC Inc, $600M asset management company based in Toronto (2008-2016). Genevieve holds an BSc. in neuroscience with a minor in economics, and attended Harvard Business School Executive Education for Private Equity & Venture Capital.
She is featured regularly in the Globe & Mail, National Post, and BNN, is an avid skier, tennis player and wake surfer.

Graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Honors of Bachelors of Business Administration with co-op (BBA) in 2005. Vast Capital markets experience with roles in institutional sales, investment banking, and over 8 years in investor relations, Nicole started her career in investment banking working for boutique, Blair Franklin as well as Scotia Bank, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions. Later working at an independent boutique in institutional sales covering Toronto & Vancouver. She founded her own firm—Auburn Partners Investor Relations, prior to partnering with Genevieve to form Grit Capital.
An animal lover and activist, Nicole is the founder of Love Puppies—a Non for Profit with the mission to end Puppy Mills in Canada.
